Description: Braze is the oldest daughter in the Black family, and as such, she takes on more responsibility than she probably needs to. She's always the one to help out in a fix, and her vast knowledge of fighting and weaponry never seem to fail her. In essence, she seems to be the perfect child: beautiful, smart, and strong. Of course, she has a temper that gets her in more fixes than anything.

Background Info: Braze was the first child of Aidan and Flame, and therefore she was thoroughly pampered. She was cherished by her parents and the entire kingdom, and everyone loved the little kit. But soon her siblings followed, and she was taken down from her pillar a notch. She didn't mind, really, as all the attention had been bothersome to her. With the spotlight taken from her, Braze had time to pursue her wish to learn of fighting. She had personal tutors, and when her parents weren't busy, they sparred with her as well. Braze became well known as one of the most skilled fighters in the kingdom by the time she was fourteen. Then, the wars began to crop up between Flame and Soraya. Flame kept Braze on the sidelines despite her desire to fight with the rest of the armies. But when the wars with the hellgods came, Flame couldn't afford to keep one of her best fighters (after all, Braze was now 17) locked away anymore. Instead of putting her directly in the line of fire, Braze was made the head of reconnaissance, and turned her fighting talents into spying ones. But even this was too dangerous, and soon she was kidnapped by Slade out of jealousy and revenge, severely crippling the kingdom and sending her family into sorrow. Her disappearance is what inadvertently led to Taurean's insanity, but that's a different story altogether.
