Arians are a race of creature I created. They came from the heavens, former stars, and look nearly exactly like humans, but there are a few who have on their forehead a star shape, marking them as "Starborn". These usually have excellent control over the unique brand of Arian light magic, and are rarely capable of evil unless something drastic has happened to them. All Arians have a special "star form", that is, they can turn into little tiny mini stars, and float and hover etc. and they have the ability to bestow the gift of this form on one, or maybe two, people of other races, therefore making them part Arian as well. Usually they do this in a marriage setting, or for a very close friend.
Arians don't like violence, and though they once lived among humans, elves, wizards and other inhabitants of "Earth" they now have their own dimensional planet called Ari - named after the first Arian to come into existance.
